Good Time to own your new gadget.

Hey everyone!

I just got my new Gateway Laptop (yes, its genuine) for an unbelieveable price.

Now before I set out to choose mine, I thought that something like a Gateway would cost a lot.
Plus the configs that i was looking would add up to the already fire-price.

But after I browsed through a few shops here in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, i found out that things have changed.

The first model I looked up:

HP g4/g6 series

Configs:

i5 processor
4GB RAM
512MB Dedicated Graphics (ATI)
500GB HDD

Price was just Rs. 41,000. That's like just about $800 only.

I don't know about you but here in India this is considerably a low price for an i5-based processor.

I would say that we are finally getting a break to choose the right one we want for a low price.
So go now and grab yours. Can't say when the markets will catch fire again.

Recommended brands:

HP: Old and good, HP got a good amount of "High Price Low Configs" critics but as I observed currently they are blazing the market with really great deals for you.

Dell: Though the once-low priced Dell has increased its values a bit now, it still remains a good choice for people who wants a really hard and tough machine to meet their rough lives.

Gateway: Many people (I'm talking about mainly India) still doesn't have any idea about what is Gateway.
E zone and Chroma (Mega Electronic Stores in India) do not deal with Gateway. Gateway doesn't even have its own service centres. It is wholly supported for its publicizing by Acer. It was the top-selling brand in US (that was before Apple took over) but nevertheless it really is a wise choice to get one now because like HP they are also blazing with hot prices and a lot of configs.

Sony: The Vaio fever isn't quite gone and the name itself suggests the grandeur an electronic company can get. While recognized brands are competing so hardly against one-another, Sony is just walking side-by-side with its varied offers and deals. You can get i3 processor 512MB graphics for less than 40k. Well lets say that's good too for a company with a strong sense of wisdom. :)

That's it for now, remember to take care of yourself and your computer.

BTW please avoid geting into traps to buy the new Aakash test because it may look good sound good but really it cannot pass the drop test! :D
