I have noticed that a lot of people have been going around asking for product keys to Microsoft LIVE Games.
Some of them just want to play the game offline but cannot, because LIVE interface keeps interfering and keeps asking to creating a live profile before the game can be played. I will explain how to create offline profiles for such games.
In a LIVE Game, (eg. Halo 2) after you start the game, you will be asked to create a profile or use an existing profile.
Click on 'Create New Profile'
After that scroll down and search for a link called "Create a Local Profile" many people don't know this so they think that the product key is essential even to play the game offline.
Follow the steps and bingo! You will be playing the game in no time.
Note that this will only create an offline profile so that you get to at least play the game once.
Multiplayer and host network will not be supported.
